O Papa Francisco disse hoje, em Fátima, que “a Igreja não tem portas, para que todos possam entrar” e reafirmou que é um espaço para todos.
“A Capelinha onde nos encontramos constitui uma bela imagem da Igreja, acolhedora, sem portas. A Igreja não tem portas para que todos possam entrar. E aqui, também, podemos insistir que todos podem entrar, porque esta é a casa da Mãe”, disse Francisco, referindo que “uma Mãe tem sempre o coração aberto, para todos os filhos, todos, todos, todos, sem exceção”.
Na quinta-feira, na cerimónia de acolhimento da Jornada Mundial da Juventude (JMJ), em Lisboa, Francisco afirmou que “na Igreja há espaço para todos”.
“Amigos, quero ser claro convosco, que sois alérgicos à falsidade e à palavra vazia. Na Igreja, há espaço para todos, para todos. Na Igreja, ninguém sobra, ninguém está a mais, há espaço para todos, assim como somos”, declarou o líder da Igreja Católica, no Parque Eduardo VII.
Numa intervenção novamente improvisada, feita em espanhol, após a recitação do terço com um mistério com a intenção pela paz, perante milhares de peregrinos, Francisco salientou que aqueles estão no santuário “como Igreja” e que a peregrinação é um traço mariano e que Maria foi a primeira a fazer uma peregrinação.
Referindo-se ao tema da JMJ, “Maria levantou-se e partiu apressadamente”, Francisco relatou momentos da vida de Maria, para dizer que “Nossa Senhora apressada e que acompanha a vida de Jesus” e, depois da sua ressurreição, os discípulos.
“Acompanha sempre, nunca é protagonista”, prosseguiu, dizendo que também “acolhe todos”.
“E cada vez que vimos aqui recordamos isto. Maria quis este presente de uma maneira especial, para que a incredulidade de tantos corações se abrisse a Jesus”, afirmou, numa intervenção sem referências aos conflitos mundiais e à necessidade de paz.
Aos peregrinos, que chamou de amigos, explicou que “com a sua [de Maria] presença aponta Jesus”, que ama as pessoas até ao ponto que se identifica com todos e pede colaboração.
Pedindo um momento de silêncio, para os peregrinos refletirem, no seu coração, sobre o que Nossa Senhora está a apontar com o dedo a cada um, Francisco perguntou: “O que há na minha vida que te preocupa, o que há minha vida que te comove, o que há na minha vida que te interessa?”.
“E assim abre-se o coração para que Jesus venha”, declarou, exortando os fiéis para que sintam “a presença de Maria Mãe, que aponta sempre Jesus”.
Esta foi a segunda vez que o Papa Francisco está em Portugal. Na primeira, em maio de 2017, presidiu à cerimónia de canonização dos pastorinhos Jacinta e Francisco Marto, no Santuário de Fátima, quando passava o primeiro centenário dos acontecimentos na Cova da Iria.
A JMJ, considerado o maior evento da Igreja Católica termina no domingo, no Parque Tejo, onde são esperadas um milhão de pessoas.
